recently I became the owner of a deep v boat and two outboard motors. the boat is of unknown origin and 40 in. long. the motors are a K&B 45 and a 67. The boat had the 67 on it. I don't know which engine is right for the boat. Also I am installing new bearings and am wondering if the rear bearing uses seals, and if so which way the seal goes. The old one has the seal next to the crank. On the inboards the open side is toward the crank.

I use a X447 on mine. An outboard deep vee will not keep up or handle like an inboard. But it is a fun sport boat.

Thanks, when I got it it had the 67 on it. It looked to big. any idea what prop the 45 would
