K&B 7.5 Pros Available

I received a phone call from Gary Preusse, G&M Models, today informing me he had K&B 7.5 Pro Outboards in stock.

His phone number is (630) 279-2451.

How about 3.5SS? I would realy like to have a new one in the near future.

My cousin has a used one on a wood dumas and it is a strong running motor.

Re: How about 3.5ss?

Talked with Gary again this morning. No date on release of the 3.5s. He did mention that if/and/when the motor/s become available there will be two versions: 1. The 3.5ss aircooled motor. 2. A new version featuring a water cooled head and muffler like the aircooled motor. This is basically what Mike Z. reported after talking with the K&B folks at the Toledo Show back in April.

Gary rather likes the idea of the w/c 3.5ss.

Gary lives in a Chicago suburb. That reminds me, I have to get a check in the mail to him!

Most clubs let you register for a race like 2-3 weeks before and that's normally when you'd pay.

Re:K&B 7.5 Pros Available

Not2, you first join the sanctioning body, IMPBA, NAMBA or whoever, then you enter the races and pay to race.

Not2bright,

As of 2002, NAMBA had two options for you to race.

1) Pay an annual membership fee of $40 which gets you a number and provides insurance for the calender year as long as you are a member in good standing.

2) Pay a per-race fee of $10 which I believe includes insurance also.

JD's club requires members to pay an annual fee also. I think it's $10. They also require a per race fee of $6 per class you enter at each race.

If you get into District 8, you WILL be involved in some intense racing! Those guys are VERY good and fast.
