Hello All

I want to save my back as much as possible. I bought a 120 Amp Hour Deep Cycle trolling motor battery for my Charging set up I am gonna be using.

The Battery has a built in Handle but @ 80 lbs it is uncomfortable at best to lug it around.

The other thing I worry about is just the chance to short out the leads by accident.

So I have designed for my self a Battery enclosure that takes care of all of those problems.

It has 3 sets of 25 amp Banana Plugs, A Slo-Blow 30 AMP Fuse, A 30 AMP Toggle

& a Super Bright LED that can be seen in daylight.

I want to be able to use one charger, and maybe a second or third.

I can upgrade the switch and fuse to accommodate higher amperage draw of my charge but don't anticipate doing that.

Just thought I would get a feel if other FE racers would like something like this.

Thanks

Joe

Very Cool Joe,

If I still lugged around an Optima Yellow for charging my FE stuff I would be on one of those in a Jiffy. I had to graduate to a 50A power supply to keep charged throughout the day.

BTW, Did you ever recive the whip GV stand pics?

Thanks Tyler

I have been getting into FE and I love it....

I do not have a gas generator at the race site or I would have power supply also.

Do you run a JAE FE Hull? I have one on order and can't wait to get it.

I am also contemplating a Insane FE 30.....

I think the last photos I got from you were of the Whip Sport 40, but I could be wrong.

Any Info you can give me on those two hulls listed above would be awesome since

I know and trust your workmanship and knowledge.

Thanks Joe

With the added components and the box it's even heavier! I think you need some wheels...JMHO.
Hello Patrick

With the two handles it is way easy to pick up compared to the single handle that comes on the battery.

Actually the Box weighs a grand total of 3.5 Pounds with all the compontents installed....

The Battery weighs 60 pounds.....
