Yes they will. The black (-) lead goes towards the outside edge of the reciever case (right side as you look down on receiver), signal wire is in middle & red (+) is on the left. :)

It will work just fine.

Plug it in the same way as a Futaba servo. On most receivers the wire closest to the outside of the case is the negative.

The only difference is the wire color. JR wires are Orange (signal) , brown or black (negative), and red (positive)

Futaba wires are White (signal), Black (negative), and red (positive)

Cool! Now I can play with my new 3PK (after I finish reading the book that came with it).

Can it be set it up to use a different type RX per boat? Say for instance, I've got the HRs reciever in my 60 boat and a FM reciever in my 20 boat. I'm a real newbie on this radio.

Yes it will work just fine, pretty much all 3 pin servo plugs and stuff are completley universal. There are little pins that stick out so its error proof when you plug it in. I dont 100% understand your last question, but what I got out of it was mixing AM and FM radios? That wont work you need AM transmitter and AM receiver or vice versa.

Phil, the new 3PK comes with an HRs receiver, it is HIGH SPEED, and regular servo's will not work, they can't keep up!

Bob, yes you can use other FM receivers, you just have to opt for the same modulation. I know Ian uses 1024 PCM receivers as well as the HRS ones.

I guess what I was trying to say is, can the transmiter be setup to use different individual recievers per boat. I know I can switch from PCM to FM but can it be done when I setup for each boat. I guess time will only tell as I get more familiar with the radio.

Bob,

Yes you can have some models set up for FM, some PCM, some HRS. The modulation setting is retained for each model.

However you do have to switch the radio off and back on again for it to actually change modulation! B)

Ian.

Ian, Just read that in the book last night. So now i know I can use all the servos and recievers I've got till I can cough up some bucks for digital stuff. This new transmitter is wicked and it'll probably be the last one I"ll ever need to buy. Thanks to all.

BTW, anybody interested in a synthesed JR XS3 with two servoes and three recievers?
