It is always nice to see someone step up to help in finding a place where we can go and enjoy our hobbies. It's even better when you have people who run the cities, counties, Parks and Recreation departments, law enforcement, etc. who are willing to work with the boaters and fliers and give them a designated area to enjoy their hobby at. It is a win-win for everyone. Thanks go out to Jerry who is one of those guys who is always giving something back to his hobby, to the benefit of a lot of people. A true Hall of Famer in my book!

It's not rare that Jerry finds recognition! I have known him since 1980 and has always been a leader not an also came in this hobby.. Some folks think greatness comes naturally but I can assure you Jerry has worked at what he loves and deserves praise and admiration from everyone that has benefitted from his hard work!!! Thanks Jerry!!!

We all get to know Jerry eventually. We talked online for a few years now and finally got to meet him in person 3 years ago. He's as nice as they come.

Last year he worked his tail off retrieving boats at the Hobart race.

Ron, he was the same way at the NAMBA NATs. Offered to go get my own boat a couple of times after it died and got told no. I guess the Frog just can't stay off the water
