Congratulations Andy.

You have completed the most important job we have as parents. Takes years to complete the job.

Congratulations Andy!!!! Wow has time flown by. I remember when Jason was born. He certainly grown up to be fine young man. You and Donna must be so proud of him.

All the best....

Steve

Thanks everyone!

Jason worked very hard even long before Basic training began, to prepare for his mission to become a Soldier in the US Army. He graduated basic training very near the top of Bravo company.

I was impressed on Thursday at the "Turning of the Blue" ceremony when the Commanding Office of the 400+ Soldiers in Bravo & Delta Companies walked across the field specifically to introduce himself to me and Donna. It was obvious that he was impressed with Jason.

Jason passed on a full scholarship to run track at a major university here in Fla.

He was more interested in becoming a Soldier. His sights are set on Special Forces.

Jason said he was fortunate that everyone of his Drill Sarges were Rangers or Special Forces. So yes Ken Olvis, Jump School will be coming .

Jason married Danielle Hurst in July 2015.

He is now at Ft, Carson, Colorado and Danielle will join him there soon.

Thanks again everyone for the good words and encouragement.
