JAP 21 Hydro Propeller Picks

Boaters,

For those of you running a JAP 21 Hydro what propellers

have you tried, and what is happening? I think the boat

runs very free on the water and it may need more blade

area. Curious to hear what is working?

Did you try the 2014 or the 50 x 69 yet?

The 50 x 69 will need to be worked maybe a little more and

I know what is wrong with the 2014. The 2014 should work very well

once I adjust it a little more.

The H-50 didn't have enough in it.

The 1450's at 3.80" of cup are the best

thing on it so far,but I have a 1650 that

should light it up on Wednesday.

Yea , that would be a 80 to 101 prop, huge blade.

Guys,

The H-50 was a joke fellas.

The 2014 with a V-cut should work very well

or the 1650 notched. A 1860 is working on a

JAP 45.

So how did the notched 1650 and the V-cut-2014 work for you now?

I will be out testing getting ready for a race August 9th,

1650 is really fast, a little picky tho almost there..i dont have the 2014 yet buddy..didnt you get my pm?

Boaters,

I was out testing with an I/W member a couple of days ago and all I can

tell you is the JAP-21 Hydro is going to start a whole new design in Hydros.

I have never seen a boat turn so FAST and not lose a beat or RPM. I feel sorry

whoever races against one. They will be amazed when it goes in the corner and

dusts you down to the next corner. If I would describe the boat in one word it

would be AMAZING!!! Propellers, it will pull just about any that you put on it.

We tried about 20 different propeller combinations and all I can tell you is we

still don't have the right one yet. The three blades are looking pretty good

though. I have more coming in soon that will make this set up the one to beat.

Mark are the JAP 21 just scaled up versions of the 12? Jerry

Yes they are. Amazing boats!!!

Not sure how much has been added to the 12, but if anyone

wants to build one for me I would be happy to pay them or

trade them.
