I bought a barely used JAE21 with a Novarossi T21-7M and Mac pipe.

It didn't came with a cowl. Should I run it with or without cowl for heat racing, as I've seen bought. I was thinking to like to put a CMDI cowl on. What are the pro's/cons, performance wise?

What size receiver pack should I put in, space is pretty tight. I was thinking about 700 mAh (http://www.onlybatte...?ItemID=10422.7)

i run a 5 cell hump pack. not the AA, but the cells that look like mini C cells. fits directly opposite the rx. my radio box on my jae .21 is set up just like your's, i run a 1400 mah pack just to be sure i have plenty of power B) . i also can go 4 rounds of racing without having to recharge. 700 mah should work fine, i just like the insurance.......still only wieghs in at 4lbs. 1 oz. sans fuel.

The battery you linked to will work great. 700 is more than enough. If you want lighter look at the Hyperion LiFe packs.

I have used AAA 4 CELLS without a problem. Nice JAE 21.
