guys,
just finished a new 21 hydro, i started with the 21g2 kit from zippkits...i made a few small changes, some to save weight and some for personal preference....i cut the tub down because i planned on using a metal tank from walt barney, and i added a baitbox...i also made new aluminum tubes for the boom tubes, and used 1/4 solid carbon rods, i have been using these for a while and they are very strong but will not break the boat when you hit something..i used speedmaster hardware, and turn fin from david preusse...the boat weighs 3lb2oz rtr without fuel..
the last few boats i have built have been from scratch, but when joe started building the kits he sent me one and i finally got around to building it...let me tell you that this kit goes together very easy, joe did an excellent job and the parts fit and finish is great, for the money you cant go wrong here..
