The biggest tip is to use a fixture to build the tub straight (see previous posts). And use weight and flat surfaces to make sure the sponsons are built straight and flat.

BUILD IT TO SPECS!

Keep it light! Shoot for 2 lbs RTR...you will end up at 2 lbs and a few oz and that will be fine. And keep the driveline drag to a minimum...make the bends in the stuffing tube AS SMOOTH AND GENTLE AS POSSIBLE! Feel free to give me a call and I can explain a good way to do it (210 392-2271).
