This thread is designed to pick up after the build thread found here:

http://www.intlwaters.com/index.php?showtopic=40367

Pictures of the finished hull can be found here:

I hope to document and collect a wealth of information on tuning and racing the JAE GAS.

To start it all off, I have posted video of our boat's maiden trip to the pond.

RCMK Rear Exhaust Motor modified by Motorheads

2716 prop S&B

50 MPH with rich settings for break-in

I will attempt to shoot video of testing and racing our boat, as well as address questions about racing, tuning and enjoying the JAE GAS Rigger.

This boat was slated to debut at the Indy Masters at Hobart, but most likely will not due to unknown engine problems.

looks real nice,BRING IT!

nice rig jeff and mikey.

why don't you guys get rid of the pull start and use a starter? it would be easier and save weight.

Boat will not be in Hobart sorry to say. There is no room in the rig, as we are now taking (2) gas whiplashes instead. I think the motor has a bad bearing. (It is hard to start, draw fuel, needle settings not predictable, AND the motor squealed when cranked after a run, until oil was sprayed in)
