Throw a 2716 on it to get you started. Its the most friendly gas prop around

6717/3 or 6719/3 are also two that tend to work well right off the bench and I found in some cases even more user friendly than the 2716. B)

I have tested 2716/2, 6719/3, 7018/3 all diff mods. still looking for what I feel is best may need more prop

Having tracking problams (pulls right) moved turn fin back to center of rear engine mount bolt help turrning but

still pulls right have added 1/8 toe in to right sponson still tracks right.Have not tried sharping fin on both sides any one try this? Thanks Lynn

lynn

try putting about .020 - .030 of shim behind the right side of the strut.. just loosen the bolts and put some shim stock washers whatever you have behind it retighten the bolts and try that

let me know if that helps

Lynn,

How long is your rudder?

We found the three blades help with the handling.

2716/3 or 2816/3 to get started. Big diameters just

Make it worse.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Mark have you had any feed back on the prop you mention? I have your 2718/3 V cut like I said has great speed but I am still battling pulling and staying in the turn. I just put a new servo in 6 volts 343 oz again. My rudder is full lenght 5 1/2 overall 3 1/2 from bottom of ski to bottom of rudder.I am hopiung the servo was bad. I am going to try and shim the turn fin to correct the pulling. I have boom toe'd in 1/8/ I have Dicks turn fin sharpened both sides and shortened like Joe's fin. Not sure were to go after this. Any input? Jerry

Jerry,

I think I know what maybe the problem.

Call me or PM me and I will help you out.

Very busy right now with orders.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Lynn, I ran mine today using the 6719/3 but feel that it could use a little more prop but it was also its maiden voyage. I didn't have any of the ill-handling effects that others have typed of, it ran nice and straight hands-off on the TX. The right sponson has 1/8" of toe-in and have the updated Zippkits turn fin on.

BTW, the Cooper Cobra pipe worked very well on my RCMK R-254! It's no slouch on my Rampage mono either.
