I am now using an Octura V967/3 with the pipe at 12.25 and really like it. Stock RZ254.

Also tried a 6719/3 and that seemd to be about the same.

The boat really seems to like it. Very smooth...

Thanks Joe. The V967/3 is easy for me to get and do the work on myself. Mark Sholund is doing up a few props for the boat but wasn't sure what would be a good prop for mine. I'm not crazy about working on ABC's as I've done a few already so I wouldn't mind farming that out.

I'm thinking of sending the R-254 to Scott Schnieder this winter for a little tweaking. It looks like I'll have my hands full next year at Hobart not to mention district races!

I have to call you one of these days soon to see what's up with some other things that we talked about at Hobart as I'm still interested in the one thing and want to see about another, if you're going to carry it.

Ron, this is the prop I had on my JAE at Hobart it sure worked well there, Mark Shouland did this prop for Doc Turner and Doc was nice enough to let me use it an ABC 2718/3 V cut. 9.00" TE cup, 4.50 COB pitch, 64.01 mm dia. I did have Mark Shouland make another one with an additional inch of COB pitch 5.50 but the rod on my RCMK let go before I could do any testing.

I remember looking at that prop, Mark put a lot of work into that one. He did have a 3-blade on his list in the Prop Swap forum but must have already sold those.

Joe, I had to go check on the pipe length. I've got those headers that I bought from you plus I've got a couple of those RCMK headers, those that can swivel a little but they appear to be a hair on the short side.
