This very short video was also taken Sat 3-13 at Huntsville....the water was very rough and full of holes....

The motor is the 1.01CMB and a V967 prop was used on this short run.....the motor was still cackling "fat"....

Once again the boat does absolutely nothing stupid in any water conditions....[this boat is a beast]

There are no plans at this time to kit this boat but the building plans are available on Niklas Edlunds website....

The little "hopping" you hear in the corners is that V967 in rough water playing its games..... ;)

Note:We are going to try to get better video in the next couple of weeks and I will post it for consumption.

There is absolutely no difference in performance or handling......The "H" sponsons have a cool retro look and the "G" sponsons are a ton easier to build.......you chose.... ;)

thank you for the reply.

We have plexiglass templates for the 101,jig built, 2 of 3 hulls out of the jig and 6 sets of sopnsons started. Hopefully testing in about 6-8 weeks. Dr.T
Doc I think you will be real happy with a fresh 101 and one of Marks blue steel turn fins. Get ready to start pitching up your props.

hi dave, could you please tell me where to buy these blue turn fins and about how much? thanks, mike.

the water dont look that rough, either the propeller has to much lift, or not enough prop weight,

what kind of speeds was the boat going.

cheers Luca

When I first saw the video the same thoughts went through my mind but after further scrutiny and talking

to David that obviously was not the case......[videos can be deceiving]

One thing about these boats is they are not very touchy to prop selection and about 40% of the boats weight is on the prop...

The wind was blowing 25mph right at the drivers back and the bank gave wind protection to the front stretch......

If you notice the boat runs flat down the front stretch and is leaving the water on the back stretch .The reason for that

is the rollers on the backstretch were 4" high.....half the course [the back stretch] was just plain rougher than hell..... :)

If it was a prop or prop weight problem the boat would be jumping out of the water on the front stretch also.......right?

The radar gun wasn't out during this test session but previous runs were 85 mph on the lie detector [radar gun] and David hadn't found

a great needle yet.....I suspect this run was somewhere between 85 and 90 mph......

Mike, Mark Bullard (SST Hydros) builds turn fins out of spring steel. He uses a 1/16" for his and Docs twin. Really tough stuff. He also has some good shingle technology going on.
