JAE 45 short kit parts list

Anyone on here have a list of hardware for the 45 short kit? Thinking on buying one and would like to know what I

will need to order. motor mnt, strut, rudder that kind of stuff.

Ken, contact David Preusse at [email protected]. David has a turnfin, cowling and he may have a motor mount. Zipp kits has the boomtubes, strut and most everything else. The best rudder seems to be the Andy Brown one if he or someone has one or a speedmaster will work. You can use the directions from Zipp kits for the 21 that are on there web site. Great Boat easy to build and lastly there is a ton of info on IW. Tim

Ken you will need motor mount, strut, rudder, boom tubes, turn fin, fuel tank, brass tube for stuff box or s-bend, pushrods and seals, starter belt, flex shaft, drive dog and strut bushing. Hope this helps. Have fun, this is a great kit to build.

The Zippkit 45 turn fin works great for me. I also like the Zippkit strut. And I think Joe has a 45 rudder now. I use a Speedmaster rudder only because he did not have one at the time.

Hi Tom, here you go. The rubber grommets are from McMaster-Carr. The aluminum is 1/4" x 1/2" stock. Nylon spacers are from my local hardware store, but McMaster-Carr would have them as well. They also have aluminum or go local.
