Looking for suggestions for stock props that would just need to be sharpened and balanced to work well. I'm running a Novarossi 46.

Thanks.

Craig, a stock 1657 or 1460 will get you in the ballpark, but a few mods to either one will help out.

Glenn,

Thanks first for the Priority envelope with bearings etc., which arrived safely yesterday.

Then could you supply the two props you recommend? If not who, would be the best person to contact?

Regards,

Wennie.

Wennie, I can supply the raw props, but I would recommend you contact Mark Shoulnd or Andy Brown for some ready to run props with the correct "tweaking" already done.

Does anybody else have any good prop suggestions for the JAE .45? What kind of speeds are you guys getting? It has been raining up here for like a month straight so I have only been able to run mine a couple times. I ran a 1657 with 5.0 cup and it seems pretty fast with the novarossi muffled pipe at 9 1/4"

Well as Glenn suggested 1657 stock and 1460 cup 4,1 are good ones for heat race.Mine(before sold ou) was running with a Picco EXR on the high 70's.Gill

The 46DD that I run is a 2314 and a 2316 both are two blade props and a 1657 cupped pretty good.

Thanks to Mark Shoulands recommendations.

Craig,

All the above work well some are running even more pitch like

Reduced H-30's and 1662's cut down. FYI, I have done over 100+

1657's this year. It has been the hottest Octura propeller on my supply

wall for sure. Currently having some people test the ABC H-30's again

to see how they work on the JAE-45 Hydros.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund
