With the tub set on a flat surface what is the measurement from the flat surface to the middle of the front and rear boom tubes? Should they both be set the same heigth? The instruction manual is not really clear on this. In the manual there is a photo that shows a ruler next to one of the boom tubes at approximately 1 and 3/8th of an inch. I would like a more definitive measurement please. What are you guys setting yours at?

Thanks,

David

david, that's part of the beauty of this kit/design. in talking to rod geraghty about the jae design(s) - .12 & .21, there are no real adjustments. as far as angle of attack, & boom tube height, the laser cutting sets those parameters. all you need to worry about is being sure they are square & level side to side. the whole jae design team has gone to great lengths to make this as foolproof & as simple to run as possible. forget a lot of "traditional" rigger concerns. just build it straight & true. trust what you got in the box from joe, i've seen kp's run in heat racing, you will be amazed at how well such an unadjustable rigger can run. i finally got my old eagle running fairly well, took quite a few hours of adjusting & fiddling around to get to that point. damn sure looking foward to finishing up my SIMPLE jae .21 kit!!!! look at the jae .12 threads, not a single question about setup, just motor, pipe & props.............
