jae 12g2 os .12tz with slide card how to hook it up?

I have a jae 12g2 i have put os 12tz in it.It has slide carb what do i need to do to hook thid up to expensive to buy rotary carb.Plus will this be a good motor for this.Not sure of the speed i will reach.please help

Save yourself a bunch of headaches and spend the money on the rotary carb. I have set up slide carbs in monos before, but they have more room to work with. Richard D

you will need to mount a bellcrank somehow and use that

I've seen bell cranks and flex cables used on the slide carbs. Do a search, you should find some pictures.

Could you please post how to convert the .12tz to a marine flywheel and collet? Do you have to cut the crank? I've got one that is ballistic in a car, but id hate to cut the crank.

I agree the rotary carb is great, they were dirt cheap on tower a month ago, wish I'd picked one up.

yes jeff,, you would need to cut the crank back to the treaded portion... any .12-.18 flywheel should work..
