I bought 2 of them! I also compared them to a Grimracer Miss Vegas turn fin and there is a difference in the sweep but otherwise very close. I also compared it to the Hammerhead .12 turn fin that I had laying around that Wade Swatzell was making for a while.

I wondered why it came with 4 washers and I think that I found out why. I put a washer under each bolt between the turn fin and the sposon to help get the fin away from the bottom of the sponson a little more. I didn't want to place two under there as I would then worry about it flexing in the turns.

I was wondering the same thing about the amount of washers that they give you. That makes sense to me to use them inbetween the fin and the sponson...I am also thinking that they may be used for trimming the boat out just in case it needs some tracking input from the fin..
