Hi,

I finally completed my JAE 12 and 21 boats. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped, I can't wait to get them in the water for some test and tune time. Hopefully sometime next week I'll be able to get them out.

Hey, NICE GRASS!!!

Oh, and the boats look good as well! :p I agree, might want to get a better clamp on that 20 pipe, and you will be set!

Finally had a little time to go do some testing. Both motors are still being broken in, the 12 rigger was running ok, it's still real rich, I was able to start leaning it down some and it started to show some potential. It would really speed up in the turns then slow some down the straights. I leaned it down a little more and when I went to start it I broke the starter belt! Must have been a weak belt I think, because I never broke one before.

The 21 boat was real fast, however it stalled a few times. I switched plugs and it sounded good, however one of a radio box seals came loose and I had water in the box, so I had to call it a day.

It was definitely fun messing with the nitro stuff again, I got back into boats last year and started messing with gas hydros which are a lot of fun as well. I drive the wife a little crazy when we're boating because I can't get the Lauterbachs to run cool enough and now I need to try to get the nitros (Nova motors) to run warmer!
