ITS TIME AGAIN

Grouper season 2014 opens in about an hr and a half- Needless to say the bottom tackle is prepped and ready to make the ride to the ramp at 0 dawn thirty to meet up with one of my favorite fishing buddy's of all time- Kane, its been several years since we fished together and I have missed it . We have shared SOOO many good fishing trips and stories over the years and Im sure this one will fall right into the norm- Wack em down and have a killer time. Surgery is next week, so now is the time to bring momma home some fresh Grouper and Snapper - report to follow

Well that tropical deal on the East coast has em all F-ed up- . Got broken off on a couple freight trains , but the bite was ODD to say the least.

I did manage after 47 years - to bust my Tarpon CHERRY and finally get one boatside- I NEVER fish for them specifically but he made the mistake of eating a bait tied to my stuff-

Only a puppy at about 60lbs- but the smile it left me with is priceless

That system on the right coast has the barometer AFU right now- the Grouper shoulda chewed the bottom out of the boat- but it just wasnt in the cards.

Not dis-appointed with the day tho-

saw Logger Head Turtles - 500LB+ Porpoise free jumping - Frigate Birds feeding -caught my first Poon-

RRRay - I could EASILY spend the rest of my days fishing Tampa Bay- its amazing what it has to offer besides just fishing that so many people just drive by every day Eagles / Opsreys / logger heads-and on and on and on- Its my 2nd Church FOR SURE

Good fishing partners dont hurt either

Andy real good fishing here just walk across the street you have some of the best fresh water fishing go a mile to the ocean and i know i dont have to tell you how good that is
