Interesting find

I just received an interesting e-mail with large Lipoly cells like Kokam. 3200mAh,3900mAh and 4300mAh @ 20c. I have requested some samples to test and we may look for someone to try a pack in a boat or two. I'll keep everyone updated. The 4300 cells are 42.5mm wide, they should work. It could be an opportunity for some lower cost packs with fewer cells.

Hey Steve I have some boats I would like to test them in. 3 different hulls, all use 10s packs. 1/8th scale, 43 inch deepvee and a 1/4 scale crackerbox. The 43mm width sound like it may be the ticket to fit in the 1/8th scale.

Guys....I am not planning on building huge packs at first for testing. Maybe a 3S or something for a smaller boat.

Oh well, I still like to get more info on the sizes. I'm having a real hard time making the thunder power sizes fit the 1/8th scale.

Oh well, the Chinaman just said that I would have to pay for samples...go figure. They are not cheap as he first stated. Someone just selling packs it appears.
