Info for Picco EXR Blue head in Sport 40

My brother is running a Picco EXR Blue head in his Phil Thomas Sport 40. We were running the back up motor and the setup from the first motor. It did not want to get up in pipe and up to speed like the first motor. We started out rich and lean it each time out and still it would go some what fast but not like the first motor. What is the best pipe/ prop combo for this motor. Right now it has a AA 45 Parabolic pipe at 9in.

Move the pipe out to 9.5 minimum and make sure your head clearance is at .010 - .012 thou. There are multiple props in the 50mm range that work good on that boat. X-450, P235 and 2015.
