The bosses are going to start taking vacation weeks tomorrow and I'd like to be able to get the week off for the Master's race this year. This past year was easy as I got lucky as my Birthday was the day before so I just took that week off anyway.

I'm up towards the top of the list and get 6 weeks off yet so does just about everyone else in the department, it's full of guys all with 30+ years.

The traditional date is the weekend after Labor day that would make it Sept.11-12. Look for less classes and 4 full rounds. This venue has to be one of the best in the country, esp. when you add in the home town hospitality .....

Thanks for the quick reply Mike.

Yes, you can't say enough about the residents of Hobart, fantastic people there!

I previously confirmed the dates with Stu and yes it will be the weekend after Labor Day this year. :)

The race will continue to be a three day race. Dates are September 10, 11 and 12. Open water on the 9th. Most likely, all the same classes will be hosted. However, we may set a minimum of 10 to 12 boats for any one class to be run.

"we may set a minimum of 10 to 12 boats for any one class"

Now that would be a shame.

Hum.. Ron.. why is that?

12 of the best of each class.. seems like an OK idea to me.

Oops, didn't read it right. Sorry.

Somehow I read it as being a maximum of 10 or 12. Dyslexia I guess. Lol Thanks for setting me straight Mike.
