I will be posting the scores of the D4-1/8 Scale High Points series here on IW. Last few years Mike Z used a facebook page. However, I do not have facebook.

Phil Thomas did a great job in Mount Vernon with 1200 points.

I will be updating this post after each race.

Here is 1/8 Scale points after 2 races. Phil Thomas and David Preusse tied for first.

This weekends race in Oshkosh is the Double Points race for the season.

We thank the NEW Model Boat Club for hosting this race.

Here are the results from our rain shortened race on Saturday. Ken Stang is now in first place driving his Appian Jeronimo that has great blood lines.

Here is the latest 1/8 Scale Points for District 4 Racers. Kenny holding onto the lead.

This past weekend was packed full of racing. Two one day races. Total of 6 heats per class. We had some great racing and some not so great wrecks-but all boats survived to race again with a little TLC.

Maybe next year, we do a feature race based on two days of races to qualify. Maybe we can start a new 1/8th scale award on our weekend of memorial races for the sport 40 and sport 20 classes.

I also want to welcome David Preusse Jr. (Davy) to the ranks of 1/8th scale drivers. We thought two Preusse's were tough to race against. Now we have three generations racing in D4 1/8th scale. Congratulations to them all. Gary, David, and David Jr.

Next race-Marquette MBC-Midlothian Reservoir. August 2nd.

Another District 4 race is in the books. The weather shortened day only allowed for 2 rounds of racing. There was some great racing at the Midlothian Reservoir.

Another fantastic weekend of 1/8th Scale Racing here in District 4. We also had D14 racers Mike Schindler and Brad Maglinger on the water. Brad's Circus Circus Canard that was resurrected as of late, was an impressive sight to see. When he gets the new blue hair CMB installed, lookout D14 racers!!!

On the District 4 side, Ken Stang finished the weekend with a perfect 1200 points.

He hasn't clinched the High points award yet. There is 2000 points left at the D4 Championship race and 1200 or so at the St Anne Race and a few racers could still catch him

Dave Preusse won the concourse with his Miss Budweiser.

The coveted 1/8th Scale Coveted Silver Cup was the highlight of the weekend. Phil Thomas clinched the feature race of The Fortieth Silver Cup race that featured three generations of Preusse's. Congratulations to Gary, David and Dave for that family accomplishment.

This year, the silver cup had an added tier to it. Mike Z and Big Bryon added to the base with Cherry wood from Big Bryon's Dad's wood shop.

The District 4 Scale Points Season has officially ended with the St. Anne Pumpkin Regatta hosted by the Marquette Boat Club.

The winner of the Season High Points is Ken Stang and his Appian Jerenimo.

See attached for the season High points scores.

From the conversations the last few races, we should have at least 3 more regular running scales in D4 for 2016.
