You'll have to provide more information about what you have:
Type of boat
Type of engine
Propeller
What % nitro fuel are you running
Have you even run it?
What's it do when it is running?
Without some basic information, it's difficult to provide assistance. Right now it sounds like an e-Bay special.

Jerry Dunlap said:Octura X440 is a good prop - probably my favorite.
Higher % nitro fuel will increase performance.
What is the height of the c/l of the prop compared to the bottom of the sponsons?
I generally run my props around 1/4" above the bottom of the sponsons.

What is the length and width of your hull?
If you have a picture, send it to me at [email protected]
20% nitro is fine to start with, i am told higher nitro makes the boat a little easier to set up (things dont have to be set exactly right)
BTW there is also a club that runs on Cherry Lake, not sure about the other details but i will find out and let you know.
