Okay, silly question, witch way does the hole in the piston face (AQU .18) ? toward the crank or toward the pull start?

Been awhile sence I pulled this motor apart and now I done forgot!! lol

Oh and before you say it I just put the other AQU motor in the back ground together, and I have no idea if it is in right either!

Jeremy: Look at the sleeve, it will have the boost port in it, line these two up together. and if you have truly lost your mind then the hole will be at the front of the case on the side of the case that the throttle arm is on. now quit playing with those little toy boats and BUILD something bigger. This coming from the gut that was scared of my little cvr-m 18 and had to pull out his SGX-21!!! Yea I figured it out finally lol! And I will have a sport 20 in the water soon, ready for next year lol!

Thanks Alden and Rick

Think of it this way, if you put it in backwards, it will open up the case of the motor to the exhaust port when the piston drives toward TDC. So, if you can see into the exhaust on the other engine, you will know if it is backwards. The attached pic is of a piston installed backwards.
