Anyone running the gen 2 insane hydro looking at buying a old insane gen 2 hydro its 12 to 15 years old. Just was wondering if these boats are still good boats to race with and how big of a motor you should run in them.

It's more of a play boat now, I have one and I still love playing with it. There is alot faster boats out there.I dont think you need anything bigger than a 26. After a certain speed is hard to keep the boat on the water.

I have whiplash, backlash, assault hydro, gsx480

I was thinking about getting one but I went with the insane big boss hydro.  Do u race in wis or ill at all?

No I dont it's just a hobby I do with my dad, something to do on this little island
