A pair of F hydros getting tangled and mangled in a heat race must be close to the polar opposite of an electric boat going in a straight line. Plug those big lipo's in and they arc, and spark...Sparkle boats.

Light as a feather Larry. I posted a spark surpressor formula on IW . Kill that sparkle and stop destroying connectors. PDA75 mounts the resistors right in the end of the connector. "Sano" to say the least B)

YUP when the temperature is above 40 degrees. Im not freezing to run a boat :blink: . You need to read around G Im a little busy with builds and a clock for tony; like most in the winter time. The best way to see a boat run if thats what you want is to run your own. If you wanna see mine run I need a loan for around 1000.00 dollars usd to get all the rest of the stuff I need . You got it for me? I need LiFe's a 2230 and and a new digital oscillioscope . I really need like 1500.00. You got my back?

Heres my current fleet: plus two more in the conception stage that I can begin if I can simply get info from people with experience in it; which doesnt seem to be you. Ive ran boat as much as you have currently before you were born so you got some catching up to do. Theres a time to learn this is one. I cant guarantee that you will coz youve turned this into a personal thing with me which is crazy :blink: coz you dont know me. Absolutely everyone has been kind to me here but you and one other. if you have a real personal problem get it out. Pm me but dont go a bring this trash on here. Larry you have an eagle is it a sgx or first generation eagle? I am an Andy Brown man and have know Andy over 20 years but I just cant pay that kinda cash for a wooden hull right now. Id like to have one but I have to slow down a little on all the cash Im spending. 20 dollars here 20 dollars there, its adding up. Hulls im considering for this project are Firefighter, crapshooter, eagle sgx(I wish), and a Jae 90/101. Are there others I should consider?The last rigger hull I saw in person was a first generation eagle. I sold my goose to dave the guy and he hasnt got it on the water yet I was hoping he would so people could see that rigger still runs good. Im almost hurt now I sold it coz I wanted someone to own it that really cared for it. There was alot of d@@n r&d put into that goose.The Andy ,Curtis and Ken collaboration had that hull one of the fastest in the midwest/texas area. I told dave that but evidently he thinks that it is a toy to just do whatever with. I was dumb to sell it. Oh well. I second guessed myself listening to fools about my boat and sold it. Really they were just trying to get me down on the price which wasnt high anyway if youre not broke. It really hurts me that my gurl is sitting on the shelf of someone that doesnt care about her. Dave doesnt know what hes got only 4 people do . Andy, Curtis,Ken,and Me oh and all the men that lost to it back in the days. Oh well. That hull would have move out with brushless power. It was always tail heavy but once up watch out! Id buy my hull back if I could but I doubt ill ever get it. Im almost sure it will end up wrapped around another boat then be thrown in the trash.

Hugh the close up shot in my avatar is my .45 SG. I started on a .21 SGX-One last winter that is awaiting paint and final reassembly. I have a twin .90 SGX-2 that will be ready to rock when the ice is gone and the water warms up into the 60's F. Also have an 80% .45 SGX kit patiently waiting it's turn. Andy Brown designed a lot of different boats, and I am by no means an expert or historian of his different models. The boom tube spacing, tub shape, and rear running surfaces are different between my .45 SG, and my .45 SGX. According to information on the CMDI website changes were made in 2006 to the .21 SGX to improve driving precision, and that model is the SGX-One, and the changes were only made to the .21 hull. The SGX-2 is the current model, the rear running surfaces are different from the SGX boats and also the winglets on the side of the hull. My Twin SGX-2 does not have skis covering the drive shaft tubes, like my single engine SG and SGX hulls do.

Yup sounds like Andy. Always looking for improvement on his hulls. Andy doesnt just put s@@t together. Quite a bit of r&d goes into his hulls. Im envious of anyone that owns one of his hulls.

Id try one I see for sale on Iw but being FE it really needs to be built from the ground up,so maybe one day I can get my peanuts together and step up to one of his new hulls
