In the day Bob 'Hurricane' Hanna was - THE MAN - period.
I got to watching some old stuff on You tube and it brought back some memories of a particular trip to Sunshine Speedways Motocross track with my brother Chip, "The Sand Treadmill" as they called it back in the day, what a killer track
" Mt.McCoy and all" I still have hand signed pics from Hannah-DeCoster-LaPort-Sun-Glover and many more from the Nationals there- back then the riders stayed until every fan that wanted one, had an autograph.
At any rate , I was lucky enough to have a brother that wrenched at the local Honda dealer and rode Moto-X , so we got to hang out and around some pretty cool people at the time-
I will never forget the ride Donny DelGato took me on around the track after a weekend of the Pro's beating the snot out of the track- the whoops and ruts where HUGE.
A little Hanna rewind- As hard a I looked I couldnt find any footage from Sunshine's track- But it was AWESOME .....
