We are working on that now, guess how hard it is to get people to agree on dates...
We will have a record trials in 9-11 April 2012 in Huntsville. (Yes that is a Monday-Wed event) And will will have at least one more record trails in the Oct/Nov time frame also.

Still working on dates but I expect we will host a heat race type event in June/July time frame. We will pick a date soon I'd say.

Does the Huntsville Club conduct Club Races at all, or just District races and Record Setting events? How many active members does the club have? Interested as your club may be the closest active club to me once I retire next year (home will be middle TN). Thanks, James Beasley

James I dont know what you call middle Tennessee Nashville or Knoxville? But the Knoxville Boaters runs at Oakridge about ever weekend..... if you are talking Nashville?? You have Evansville to the North & Huntsville to the South, Both are Great Clubs to Run with.......

Huntsville hold the taylor/hall memorial race and also hold record trials. they have the Evansville races and testing and tuning Evansville,Knoxville, Huntsville and also Jackson TN.
Nothing going on in nashville whatsoever that im aware of. julian would know alot of whats going on in the area

Hey James about where are you talking about for middle Tn? We have a good solid core of boaters, they stick to it in pretty much any weather and conditions! I was out of boating for nearly 30 years and they got me back into to it! Hey maybe that was not a good thing to do! 
I think you will find the Huntsvile guys to be a good bunch to boat with.

James when you get settled in shoot me an e-mail, I'll be glad to put you on our club listing we normally have 3 to 4 records trials a year along with one race. and an official practice session once a year that I need to get approved by the city. Be glad to have you come run with us !

Nope still have to set up meeting with the city. Traditionaly there are ususally only 2 dates the city ask us not to run since we have a new Parks Manger for 2012 we will need to set up a meeting and see how he wants to set dates.

Sorry for the late response guys, I will be just outside of Nashville. Jackson, TN is about out of boaters I think, hope to visit Mark Hopper some regardless. I did not hink about Evansville, that is good, get to see Say Mikey. Oak Ridge and Huntsville are short hauls as well. Looks like I'll have plenty of places to run, great. Throw two trips a year to Charleston and I'll be tired! Thanks guys, see ya next Fall. James
