Boy did the Records fall in Huntsville this weekend we had a battle for the FE records between Ed Hughey, Jim Vaughn, and Jay Turner together they broke over 20 FE records. Jim beat one of Ed's records so Ed put together a boat for that class and reclaimed the record. Really neat weekend on Sunday the rest of the weekend wasn't too nice. WINDY!!!!!!!! Results will be posted soon.

I, for one, would like to hear any ofthe details. Jim was running most sizes of my wire drives so I am anxious to hear how it went. I bet they were all just screaming fast.

The facilities and the crew were outstanding, even though the weather refused to cooperate until Sunday morning. We did get to rip it up some on Sunday, and made at least one run with each of the boats. Those wire drives worked flawlessly! Great stuff :D

Jim, glad to hear it. Weather certainly plays a big part.

What were some of the speeds and in what classes?

I take it someone will post some numbers soon.

I'm sure the results will get posted when they are official. The fastest passes I got thanks to great cells from Fuller's Fast Electrics, electronics and hardware from Fine Design Marine and Fullers, expert coaching from Jay Turner, and your wire drive components were:

O2-Sport Hydro (35.4mph)

Q-Mono (44.5mph)

P-Tunnel (45.0mph)

S-Mono (54.3mph)

T-Mono (56.2mph)

P-Sport Hydro (61.0mph)

Q-Hydro (73.9mph)

It was great to meet Ed Hughey (the Legend). Ed's boats are works of art, and he can do things with 05 brushed motors that were amazing. Watching Ed run was worth the long trip :)

LMAO!!!! You ain't kidding there. Ed is the master at running 05 motors, he can still put the hurt on a BL setup. How did you like his radio? Did he tell you the story about how he built that radio system about 100 years ago? :D

Paul.

Are the results out yet? Anyone know what the records were?

Isn't the IMPBA website www.impba.com I can seem to get it to work.

Thanks,

Dick

Bill Zuber,

Hey buddy. Check the Sport 3.5cc records and make sure that when they put them up on the site, that they post Mike Rushing with the Sport O/B tunnel SAW record. The draft you had up showed Mike Talley with both Sport O/B tunnel records.

When are the times going to get posted to the site?

Thanks!

Carl
