HTB260 w/Novarossi 35plus21

I bolted my Novarossi 35plus21 outboard on the transom of my sport 21 tunnel HTB260 and headed to the pond today. The engine is a converted inboard with a Precision boats crankshaft,"lights" pto,D&J carb,HTB silver bullit hp pipe,Vans header,OS lower unit,Octura X442 prop and S&W 65% fuel. The prop has been back cut and detongued. I compared it to my US1 HTB290 and the was a big difference in speed,and it was a handful to drive. I think in the right water it could set an oval two lap record! What a rush!

I can second that! Fastest 260 I ever saw. It was a rush just watching it. That 290 was a screamer too. Had a good time testing boats, pond was slick all day.

Sorry we couldn't make it to run with yall today. I tried my best to cut my finger off the day before the Fall Nats. Then had 4 wisdom teeth removed this past thursday. Keep us posted on when yall are going to run and we will try and get up there.

I don't blame you, those wisdom teeth sure were not working or you wouldn't be trying to cut your finger off making tater salad. And i need your address i have a 290 cowl to send you.

I would say thats too much power for a 260...it will make wheelis like on your avatar.

Anyhow....any picture of that setup?

For the record: before I was allowed to fly F16 my wisdom teeth needed to be removed..... .
