how to measure pipe length Irwin S pipe

I bought an Irwin 21 S pipe for my NR/JAE21, but not sure how to measure the pipe length. Do I measure from the weld or from the beginning of the band? See picture.

A muffler is added to the pipe to be able to run it overhere, otherwise it is too loud.

I measure to the weld, or "B"

No need to measure. You can't get it short enough anyway!

You could start with 'B'. 'A' would be too long for sure.

Andy is exactly right! It looks to be about right based on how your header is cut. If possible, you will want to get the rubber coupler over the ring on the pipe so it doesn't slip off.
