How to make a prop mold?

I know there was an article on here a while ago but I can't seem to find it. If somebody could point me in the right direction, that'd be great. I've heard to use JB Weld, Bondo, etc. , just not sure what's the best material and method to use.

Mitch, you looking for a duplicator or a mold to cast props???

Mitch, if it's the article I think you're talking about, it was for a prop pitch mold, and they used plumbers epoxy putty. Saw it on a gas boat site years ago. The prop pitch mold was removable from the base, to be able to work on different props.

A duplicator, like to repitch a prop back to how it was in case your go to prop gets dinged. My bad I should have said that.
