holiday,.. searching?

I'm sure many of us have this type of situation,.. We have family in for holidays,. Everybody that comes has a different idea of what they want to do,.. I'm personally looking for some relaxing time,.. without pressure and schedules and deadlines. Other guests want to do this on this day, that on another day,.. and that is really ok,.. for them,, they can do that.. I don't mind if they want to do that,. but it's not my plan.. but it seems that other people are not ok with other peoples plans,..

glad to see everyone all the same.. just seems like we could have a better way to enjoy all this.,

more discussions... this happens every visit it seems like.. there is a large amount of dysfunctional communication. I said that we are too old to be wasting the small amount of time we have together on things like this. I asked that we have some very pointed discussions about what happens and why,.. and what is said that causes it. Also admitting that that I am not innocent and I need to make some changes myself.

While not totally well received,.. the message got across.

You are not alone Anthony, Holidays have not been the same for me since my father passed away. He was the "Peacemaker" in the family. My sister would always start a argument with my mother over something very trivial. Too make a long story short- my sister and her alligator mouth are not welcome in my home during the holidays.

Sad but true Glenn, One of my brothers went deep end the other day on the phone and 24hrs later was just fine again-

Should be an interesting afternoon of fine dining

At least one of my brothers is a HUGE 1/4 Scale Pilot / modeler - so I'm bringing the Mark & Pak to give us common ground
