HOLE ON A NEW CMB 80!! HELP

Hello people!!!!

My name is george and im whriting you from greece!!!

I need help from anyone that has a cmb engine!cose this is my first big engine!!

I just got my new cmb 80 (3 days ago)and today i took it apart to clean it.

When i got the carb out i realised that one of the four holes for the screws on the engine that they hold the carb it has been opened

all the way in the engine!!!

please let me know if this is a promblem or its ok!???that i dont think so.....

That’s not a problem to worry about. Many motors have this same issue.

Having a machine screw that is tapped all the way through is pretty common, and usually doesn’t result in an air-leak significant enough to worry about. You may want to install the machine screw with some loc-tite as an extra precaution against any potential air-leak.
 
8) NOT APROBLEM WITH THE HOLE , I HAVE A LOT OF MOTORS GO THRU HERE EACH YR , I HAVE SEEN ALOT WORSE. IF THIS BOTHERS YOU THEN PUT A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF SEALER ON THE BOLT ,
