The date 9-10-11 September.The weekend after Labor Day.Now I don't know if it going to be a 4 days race or not that is up to the Indy club.

It would be great if Hobart would build a Hotel/Motel in their town.
As of 5-mins ago rooms at the "Roof" in Merrillville 69.99+tax.

Word is they (Janet & Jim for those who've been there) are working on something a little nicer and a little closer for the "race hotel". Stay tuned.........

Glenn, it would be great to finally get to meet you there!
A lot of us stayed at The Roof last year but the rooms had some disappointments. Stu and I for sure asked for smoking rooms and didn't get them. The first night I found used bars of soap in my room which made me question the cleanliness of the rest of it.
Later on I found out that there was a Senior Citizens discount also made for the month which could have dropped the room prices down even further. There were a couple of other motels near The Roof, the one next door had a pool.
Merrillville is a bit of a drive, something like 13 miles from the race site but still not bad as there are plenty of places to eat at. There is a Hooter's across the street from the motels, we ate there twice.
I don't care as I'll stay where everyone else does as long as it's reasonable.
