Hey there!

Doing great! Just checking in to see if you all are behaving yourselves ;)

Hey Hammer, good to hear you're doing well.

You need to get all over Mike P. I'm getting real tired of seeing pieces, parts and molds on his thread. He needs to learn your two day building process.

Just kidding Mike!

Anyway, it's always good to see you're keeping an eye on us.

Don

Hey Don! I saw your .12 in the "Show us some Pics of your Projects" Thread.

Could you tell me what you call them cuts on those sponsons. I forgot. Looks really sweat.

I have a .21 Oval time trial rigger on the bench right now. Needs to be painted, and it is ready to get wet. I will send some pics to WW to have him post for me here.

Well looky who's in here! Long time no hear from Bud! Trying to get this project on the road, heading to the Toledo show to see what I can pick up there. I might have to get some pack mules to haul out all of the goodies. ;)

Send me an e-mail sometime to let me know what's up. Project Speed isn't dead, just in hibernation.

Oh yeah, say Hi to Hammermom!

Well Hammer, since you can't seem to remember what the name of those sponsons are, or that you designed them, I guess we"ll just call them "DON CUTS"!

"Oops" I hope you didn't get a patent on those Hammer Cuts.

just when i was about to say i'm gonna send him a real camera i see a real pic  that loks freakin AWESOME!

Those sponsons are in a different zipcode than the tub! Wonder how much flex there is?

Lookin sharp!

Well it isn't quite done. Still have to put all the little goodies that make it go on it.

I hope nobody from Roadrunner is reading this thread, because the sponsons on this rigger are, believe it or not, Roadrunner .67 rear sponsons. Of course I had to do a little work on them to make them usable.

I have a brand new MAC .21 to slap in this baby. It also has a Power Surge fuel cell and turn fin compliments of MikeZ. It is 83 cm from the tip of the sponsons to the transom and it only weighs 600 grams. That is with out the hardware in it, of course. I don't expect to be getting it wet for a week or so, but I will be sure to get you guys some results.

I had it air-brushed for a pretty penny, so if it doesn't run well, it will make a fine decoration.

By the way, I will be going back to the states in July to visit the family. I will be taking it with me. I have already talked to Jerry Dunlap about getting together to go burn some nitro. Looks like I'll finally be able to run with another member. Yeeehaww!

See ya in a while.

Hammer

One more thing! My new cell phone has a 1.3Mega pixel camera built into it, so the pics are a bit better than before.
