Hello Everyone,
I have a friend near me that is also in the graphics business. He also has an abundance of equipment that gets little use. I have used him a lot to create my decals and I thought I could help him get more business for his machines by offering custom decals. Since so many of you ask me for custom decal sets he and will attempt to increase the production focus for quick turnaround.
As graphics professional with formal education and training in illustration and design, there is almost nothing that we cannot create. All designs are created from scratch or completely redrawn. We do not scan and trace then clean up afterward. This allows for really crisp clean lines down to the microscopic level if you dared to be that detailed. Sometimes I see graphics that have been scanned that are kind jagged when you look close ours are not. We also have a formal training in typography (study of typestyles). This gives us a vast knowledge of a variety of typestyles that will fit hull design, or graphic concept best.
The decals are 1200 dots per in. This creates very smooth gradients (fades from light to dark) from 100% to 0%. You can see some printers fall off sharply at 20% or so. You can also see the dot pattern because they use a much more course dot.
Custom Decals Sheets will consist of
1 Illustration/logo (Nose or Deck of Boat)
2 Names (1 for each side of hull)
2 Numbers
2 Graphic Strips (Graphic Design for each side of the boat
