I just bought a new Seaducer for my son and it has a third remote needle. So from my tank I have a remote needle and then into a servo operated needle then the carb. Can someone please give some kind of starting point as to how to set the thing to get started. When I start it now its very rich,so should I lean the servo ,or the main needle? How can I tell if Im richening or leaning on this system with the servo operated needle?Any tips on tuning with this system would be greatly apreciated. Thanks

Leave the manual needle alone , and uss the third channel to ajust . When I set-up mine I make it so when you tighten the radio you lean the needle you know lefty losen righty tighty. Scott

Hi!

What kind of motor? what needle? Is there a needle adjustment on the servo operated whatever you have?

I'm only familiar with the K&B/Bob Violet servo remote needle. With these, the only the servo operated needle is used.

I have just a couple of questions do you know what remote needle you have and also why is there a remote needle between the tank and the remote? :)

You should have just the remote needle between the tank and the carb

this will keep it simple and easy to adjust.

what engine do you have in the boat and was the carb the one that came with the engine

The motor is a Gerity Novarossi .21 and Im not sure as to the servo needle.Ive seen this type before but cant put the name on it.Its triangle with the two nipples sitting upright and arm for the servo on the end no adjustment on it except by the servo moving the arm forward or back but I cant tell which will give me a leaner or richer setting either forward or back with the arm.The manual needle is plain basic inline needle.

Give me a call am we can work on it with my flow meter. That way you are sure whats what and we can get you a starting point. I have a good start point for 3.5's in my notes.

We would just need to come up with a time to meet, at the pond if the weather is good works. just give me a call or e-mail which ever works.
