What’s up everyone,

My name is Jason and I’m new to Electric/Gas RC boating but I’ve been a general RC enthusiast for some time.(buggies/on road vehicles) A friend of mine got me into trying out the Proboat Sonicwake V2 and after messing around with it on 6S I just found that this was the hobby I had been looking for!! I grew up watching the Thunderboats/Unlimited Hydroplanes down at Fiesta Island every year in the Late 80s and always had a love and fascination for those Boats!!!

I’m 3 boats in now and looking to buy or build a scale gas hydroplane like Miss Budweiser or my all time fav the Winston Eagle Lobster 91-93.

Nice pond with a couple-a challenges.

Absolutely!! I'll get Ryan and Drew together (another guy who is going to be making a acct here real soon) and we will make a group trip!! Im ready to bring some new blood into the mix in San Diego!!
