Just want to be sure that you get the right pictures. Are you talking the 1955 U-9 or the 1956 U-8? The pictures posted are of the U-8

Acually it's a 1958, but I just need a picture to copy the font off the side. I am doing a Thunder Boat in the Hawaii Kai style so as long as it is very close it will be alright.

Ron's picture of the side is better than what I have now, but a clearer picture would be nice.

No offense Ron, I am just getting lazy in my old age.

What about getting a color sheet from Newton Marine? That should have the correct font as well, just a matter of some slight scaling up or down to fit your hull
