hardware required for a catamaran.

What is needed for the back of the catamaran boats.

I see struts for .21's hydro's and mono's but what do you use for a cat.

Same question for the.21 Cat.what is used for the rudder ??

Do they require Trim tabs ?

would a .21 cat with the same engine and pipe as a .21 hydro run close to each other in speeds and handling ??

The Cat hardware is similar to the others, strut and rudder. Trim tabs typically aren't needed. In order of speed, assuming all are setup correctly, I'd say hydro then cat then mono. The difference in speed is largely due to the increasing amount of hull that contacts the water. In some ways the cat can handle better than a hydro, it certainly can handle rougher water. It's also got an advantage of being able to turn either way since it doesn't rely on a turn fin.
