hardware placement 21 mono

Hi all,just wondering if there is a download or anything really,to the general rule on placement of hardware on a 21mono,dosnt have to be any perticular hull or running gear either ,thanks peter.

What kind of hull yes it makes a difference where to place it on every hull. Robert

How about prop and rudder on the back, motor towards the front, radio gear in between...........

Now seriosly; motor and radio gear placement will determine CG. Fuel tank can change CG as fuel is burned off. Static CG can range from 25% to 38% of hull length from the transom. There is a big difference in how the hull handles depending on the manufacturer's design for the CG location. Deviating from the manufacturer's setup can lead to major headaches. I'm not saying it can't be done, but you've got to know what you're doing, AND have the patience of Job while to experiment with one change at a time.

Rudder usually offset to the right on a mono to keep it in clean water. Prop can be surface or sub-surface drive. If surface drive, it can be mounted with either a standard strut, or a stinger setup.
