The Aurora was supposed to be the replacement for the decomissioned SR-71 Blackbird
There is another, there is little to nothing on info or pics for this one.
Area 19 Part of the Nellis Complex controlled by Los Alamos on the Nevada Test Site.
Yeah the one that part is still hot from past atomic testing!!! On the north side of the site, maps show a unusuall ring of roads in a circular pattern with a 34.5 KV powerline terminating to a 1000 KVA Substation and THATS it nothing else around. The line is active and has a huge current draw.
To the south of the rings a few structures that appear to be entrances to a underground complex. Retired workers report that that site was strange because they did a lot of drilling in that area and nothing was built above ground.
An underground particle accelerator? They are large usually a "round" tube, they are used to bombard the atom with protons or electrons in hopes to create a new element, or break down the electron field. This takes some power but also releases a ton depending on the element they’re playing with.
Here is an interesting link that explains it a bit better.
That would be around the time frame yea, Most of the sat image maps of the area are older too, The new one's could pick up a prarie dogs butt in tight focus
