First, let me introduce myself. I am Jananne Settle. I am Greg Settle's daughter. I am posting this topic on his behalf.
My dad died in July 2016 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He died peacefully so I find comfort in that.
My dad was an excellent engine machinist and did bearings for people all over the world.
He has a large inventory of new in the package ceramic balls for engine bearings I'd like to sell as a lot for a reasonable offer.
There are at least 500 total ceramic balls of each size with varying quantities of specific diameters:
3/16 grade 3 & 5
5/32 grade 3
3mm grade 3
3.5mm grade 3
1/8 grade 3
2.5mm grade 3
3/32 grade 3
1/16 grade 3
7/32 grade 5
7/64 grade 3
My dad also manufactured a tool I believe he used to press the bearing in the engine? See pictures.
He also did his own under-head buttons. He has a box of aluminum blanks he would have used for this purpose. See pictures
Just trying to get these items into the hands of a machinist that could make use of them.
