I would suggest an ABC H-5 or and ABC H-7 also and Octura 1450, if you can pull the other two props. Walt Barney

James,

Ask Mike Betke on here, they built the boat many years ago.

We ran X-447's on them with a Texas-Cut on them. The boat was designed

around a X-447, they run the best on that hull. We ran them with great results

back in the 90's.

There were no H-series propellers available when that boat was built.

Thanks,

Mark

Thats a carb I had from back in the day. One I modified for my GO's back when I ran them.

Rodney and Larry,

Back in the day was in the 1990's.

You were still a sprout a bet? LOL!

So you guys know the Aquacraft 44/66= H-4 & the 45/68 is an H-5.

Rodney,

You are getting up there.

How is daddy's little girl? She still testing with you?

Enjoy,

Mark

Mark she is. When I get the chance to go down there. Work keeps me busy most weekends anymore.

1958 for me, but who's counting. Back in the day would be when some older boaters I know of would steal the laces out of Grandpas wingtips to fire up their boats, 'cause Sullivan hadn't developed their line of electric starters yet, ;) Some guy named Shaefer with an ornamental iron works shop out east told me about the correlation between several of the aquacraft props with the H series blades, several years ago, but 50X69's and H7's and full blade 1450's have worked so well on my .21 hydro and 7.5 tunnels that I never tried the H5's or H6's. My Blackbird with a top 5 port and a 3280 pipe at 8 1/8" would launch with a Ernie Lafluer modded T2014 but anything other than WOT was not an option.

Larry,

Try the 1914 ?

Or H-7 @ 3.46"

Thanks,

Mark

Mark, I'll have to measure up the H7 I have to see where it's cupped at. It ran well on my Blackbird, and was one of the best on my 7.5 Leecraft. Not sure if I tried a 1914 or not.
