Go to props for a Whip20/Nova combo?

Just getting ready to get a new one ready wondering what your luck is with props for this combo?

Chris Wood ran a back cut 1440 on his. Boat was radared at Mendota a few years back at over 60mph on the front straights...during a heat race that he easily won.

when i ran sport 20, my go to prop was a 1440

Tim,

Many run the M-440 also, just not with a lot of trailing edge cup in it.

If you can find a T-101 propeller from Ernie L. They work well on that set up.

a m440 ain't going to get it done.. unless you want to buzz grass with it.. to small.. the only time I ran that prop was at mike z's lake when it was a short coarse and run 7 laps.. even then it was almost to small. 1440 back cut like a prop for a tunnel boat and pitched to 3.2 - 3.4 this was on a nova with a ops 3280 pipe. pipe was 8 1/8 long.
