Mike,

I would like to do a project with (2) .12-.18 pullstart rear exhaust engines. Are the output shafts threaded like an SG crank?

Do you have any experience as to the longevity of the pull start? Performance compared to AQUA18 and SuperTigre 18?

If i may mike,,,,,,, the engine will produce more low end grunt than the aqua .18....and quadrupal the amount of tourqe a st .18 makes...... the crank is threaded the same as the rest....... 5mm... i ditched my pullstarts,,, went belt,,,, but my buddy has one that has the pull and it seems to be o.k as long as you loosen the plug to start it... it should last for a long time if you always loosen it....the price is right here boys.... scoop em up...........

they are full threaded standard cranks here is a picture I already had taken of a GO 18 crank

as for the recoil the 21 pull start go engines had worse trouble than the .18s reason is because they use the same recoil, every GO ive seen from the .18 through the .28's are very tight when new and take a bit longer to break-in so care must be taken when starting them, as for the recoil holding up I believe its just a matter of how one yanks the rope as to how long any of them will last. They are your basic 3 port (two transfer one boost) engine so they arnt to complex. Personally have not run one but call me if you would like and I can give you all the info I can on them, ive had about 3 years worth of feed back on the go engines. I can also strip one down and get pics of the inside posted up if you need and wouldnt be any trouble.

by all means guys... this is an un speakable deal....... and these engines have for sure proved them selves to me,,, not that im anybody.........lol.... engines are tight like mike said,, so the break in process is lengthy.... ive had great results with the .18's,,.21's,,and .25's,,, all 3 port engines.... rodney pierce has had excellent results with his .21 also.. to each his own,,and i say for the price its a no brainer for sombody lookin to not spend a mint..... :D
